Having started out at Sydney Markets as a small wholesaler of fresh produce in 1986, by Chairman Santo Peter Tripodina. Tristate Holdings has grown into a leading diversified private investment firm deploying capital across a number of sectors.
Today Tristate Holdings is still in the Tripodina family. Tristate Holdings is managed by CEO Adrian Tripodina who holds a diverse portfolio including Agriculture, Real Estate, Infrastructure and IT, taking equity and debt positions depending on the asset.
Its Agriculture investments are underpinned by Tristate Produce Merchants, a 40 year-old family owned and operated business, which started out as a small wholesaler of fresh produce before growing into a vertically integrated entity with interests in farming (live-stock, produce and wine), wholesale and retail with joint venture partnerships across Australia with some of our nation’s finest growers. Today it serves all of Australia’s leading chain stores including Woolworths, Coles, Aldi as well as the largest independent retailers.
Its Real Estate division provides capital across multiple channels as an end to end solution to develop its own assets or fund equity or debt positions with joint venture partners. It invests in all asset classes; residential, industrial, commercial and medical having recently developed a specialist facility, anchored by Ramsay Health in South Sydney. It has a current pipeline of approx. 400 residential dwellings across Sydney and has joint venture arrangements with leading companies including the Toga Group.
Its Ventures division has taken strategic investments in a range of small cap enterprises providing both seed and expansion funding to accelerate growth. It recently invested in Pacific Blue Capital (click here for link). Other ventures focus on IT based software solutions having invested and developed an industry based compliance check for the construction industry and more recently investing in a start-up around Policy Automation for SME’s and government.
